The Sea Word is Coming to the North Norfolk Coast

A change is coming to Dalegate Market during June.  Creek, the shop between FatFace and Relish, has now closed, and in its place The Sea Word will be opening its doors in late June.

The Sea Word will be a brand new, bright and shiny seaside supplies shop, with more nautical puns than should ever be allowed.  They will be proudly stocking the full Gone Crabbing range, alongside stacks of beach essentials, toys and games, buckets, spades, and nautical nicknacks to take to the gulls and buoys back home, putting the oooooh into souvenirs!

“I can’t lie, selecting stock for the new shop has just been great fun, we’ve been listening to what visitors and locals alike tell us they want from a seaside store, and hopefully we’ve ticked some boxes for them”, said shop owner Jules. “We’re really enjoying the chance to work with the team at Gone Crabbing, and we’ll be bringing back some of their classic designs alongside new favourites.”

The Sea Word joins the wonderful collection of shops & cafe at Dalegate Market – Deepdale Stores, Deepdale Cafe, FatFace, Relish, One Stop Nature Shop, The Hare & The Hen, Driftwood Glass Studio, Deepdale Visitor Information Centre, and the Pop Up Shops

“It’s lovely to have found a wonderful combination of continuity and new. The Sea Word will continue the presence of the Gone Crabbing range at Dalegate Market, but also offer a new selection for visitors”, said Jason, landlord of Dalegate Market. “And wonderful that we continue with a full collection of shops & cafe, making Dalegate Market a great stop on any visit to the beautiful North Norfolk Coast.”

Wonderful artisans and producers will be joining Dalegate Market in the pop up shops throughout the year. On 12th June Dalegate Market welcomes back The Pantaloons for their first visit this Summer, with The Importance of Being Ernest – Open Air Theatre. Burnham Deepdale has many other events throughout the year, including more Open Air Theatre, Deepdale Festival, rural workshops and much more.
