Four more business representatives have joined the dynamic team driving forward significant regeneration and investment in King’s Lynn.
King’s Lynn Town Board is welcoming additional members – Laura Dunn, Zach Stanford, Kirsty MacLeod and Graham Slater – who applied for the exciting opportunity as part of a recruitment process.
Working alongside other Town Board members, the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk and Norfolk County Council, they will strengthen the private sector voice on the board, ensuring businesses are involved in shaping the future of the town.
The board, a public-private partnership, oversees the Town Deal projects which include the new larger library and community hub taking shape on Baxter’s Plain, St George’s Guildhall and Creative Hub, and forthcoming riverfront regeneration including the sensitive revitalisation of the Custom House.
Laura Dunn, Founder and Director of KL Magazine, and a lifelong local resident, said: “I believe King’s Lynn is a town with a rich history and full of future potential. I’m excited to be part of a team who can influence and shape its further development and growth.”

I hope my contribution to these projects will help strengthen the heritage, culture and community of our unique town.”
Graham Slater, Quality, Environment, Health and Safety Manager at SKF Cooper Split Bearings, said: “I am very pleased to have been asked to join the Town Board team and I am looking forward to contributing in some part to grow King’s Lynn.”

Councillor Alistair Beales, Council Leader and a member of the Town Board, added: “Our new business representatives bring a range of valuable professional skills, experience, local knowledge and connections, alongside a genuine passion for King’s Lynn and contributing positively to its transformation.
“The businesses they represent are key local employers and we are delighted the businesses are supporting their staff to get involved. I look forward to working with them and the rest of the board as we steer significant regeneration and investment in King’s Lynn for our communities.”
