Businesses across Broadland are giving Father Christmas a big hand this year and have donated toys, gifts and vouchers to Broadland District Council’s Help Hub.
Broadland District Council Cabinet member, Natasha Harpley said; “We know that the cost of living crisis has made things very difficult for many people. It can be hard finding the money for presents, so I would like to thank the local businesses who have been so generous.
It needn’t cost lots of money to help people, often you just have to want to do something. Every act of kindness, big or small, makes a huge difference to someone’s life.”
The gifts will be distributed by staff in the Council’s Help Hub and by Children’s Services to help families who are experiencing hardship and to make sure that Father Christmas visits as many homes as possible on the big day.
The council would like to thank Roarr, Orchard Toys, ZSEA and Rainbow Assured, McKibbin Management Consultants, Taverham Garden Centre, Citrus Shredding KS Advisory and Sterling Virtual Assistant Services for their very kind donations of gifts.
