Profile
After their last two sell out shows at the Maddermarket Theatre, Crude Apache change direction for 2026, away from boats, the Broads and the North Sea to South Norfolk and an ancient woodland.
Based on the true story, which is still commemorated in the Watton town sign, Babes in the Wood is a genuine Norfolk pantomime.
Deep amongst the twisted trees of Wayland Wood two innocents are betrayed and left to die. Will strange magic, unexpected allies and their indomitable spirit see them through?
With all the classic panto elements and music from the fabulous Punch House Band this family show is told in Crude Apache’s inimitable style, expect catchy songs, lots of laughter and a dark twist in an atmospheric re-telling of this classic folk tale.
Strap line:
Traps and snares and goblin lairs and children running for their lives.
