RNLI Sheringham Lifeboat Calls for New Recruits

RNLI Sheringham Lifeboat Station is on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its lifesaving team. Whether you’re interested in becoming a lifeboat crew member, a shore crew member, or a tractor driver, we need your help to continue providing this vital service to our community.

No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided both on station and at the RNLI’s state-of-the-art headquarters in Poole.

To help you learn more about these opportunities, we’re hosting Recruitment Open Days on:

  • Sunday, 9th March
  • Sunday, 13th April

Both events will take place at Sheringham Lifeboat Station from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. During the open days, you’ll have the chance to meet the crew, ask questions, and see demonstrations of the equipment used to save lives at sea.

Those who can’t attend the open days are welcome to visit the lifeboat station on any Sunday morning between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM to learn more.

Why Join the RNLI?

Joining the RNLI Sheringham Lifeboat team is more than just volunteering—it’s a chance to make a real difference in your local community. As a team member, you’ll work alongside like-minded individuals who share a passion for saving lives at sea. You’ll gain invaluable skills, form lifelong friendships, and play an essential role in an internationally respected organisation.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact the lifeboat station via email at sheringham@rnli.org.uk
