Race to sign up for Marriott’s Way 10K

Runners are invited to sign up for Broadland District Council’s popular Marriott’s Way 10K, which launched today (7 April). This highly anticipated race will take place on Sunday, 21 September. Starting in Aylsham, the route follows the old railway line through picturesque countryside before finishing in Reepham’s quaint marketplace.

Council Chairman, Cllr Adrian Tipple, said: “Over the past few years, this race has become increasingly popular, attracting participants from all over the country. The run is flat and mostly off-road, offering perfect terrain for both seasoned runners and those new to running, thanks to the softer ground. So, whether you’re an experienced runner or looking for your next fitness challenge, sign up today to secure your spot on the starting line!”

Sponsored by Orsted, the event raises funds for the Council’s essential community services and the Chair’s chosen charity.

With limited spaces available, the Council urges anyone interested to register as soon as possible. Entries are £18 per affiliated runner, £20 per non-affiliated runner, and £65 for corporate challenge teams of four runners.
