It’s not the best of starts to a Norfolk Broads holiday for thirteen-year-old twins Max and Jenny and their friend Faru. HERON CRAFT turns out to be the most run-down yard on the Broads, their boat isn’t ready and Max’s iPad has run out of charge. And then, to cap it all, they go and get themselves transported to another dimension. Well, that’s family holidays for you! On the plus side, as they battle back to the present, they do learn something of the history of this magical waterworld, and even the direction their own lives might take . . . if they survive that long!
