Our loyal band of customers already know how good the food and drink is at The Fur and Feather Inn – it’s what keeps them coming back. Don’t just take our word for it, we’re featured in the Good Pub Guide, CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide and nominated for local awards. Here’s why…
It’s a beautiful setting to eat or drink, a thatched pub, in one of Broadland’s prettiest villages. The atmosphere is as traditional as the setting. Friendly staff behind the oak topped bar, the day’s newspapers on top of it. A welcoming fire and no TV, juke box or pool table. Next door is Woodforde’s brewery. We serve their award winning ales straight from the cask.
A great place to come for a drink but the Fur and Feather is probably defined by its food. Here traditional meets modern, whether you choose to eat in the restaurant, the bar or large garden. Our chefs have built up a countywide reputation. Steak-and-kidney pudding fans have been known to travel from as far as Fakenham and Lowestoft after hearing about ours!
It’s traditional English fare all home-made, seasonal and local where possible. There’s always more than 20 main courses to choose from and menus change regularly and our specials boards change daily. Where possible, we use local suppliers. Coxford’s butchers at Aylsham make our half pound burgers especially for us. It’s all complimented by an exceptional wine list.
