Massingham Together Fete

Great Massingham Parish Council is hosting the Massingham Together fete on Sunday 12th October 2025, 12–4pm, at Great Massingham Village Hall and Jubilee Field. The event aims to raise vital funds for the new inclusive playground project at Jubilee Field, designed to create a safe and welcoming play space for children of all ages and abilities.

The fete will bring the whole community together with:

• Local stalls and games
• Food and refreshments
• Tombola and family activities
• A grand raffle with exciting prizes

One of the headline raffle prizes is a scenic plane ride from Great Massingham Airfield, generously offered by local pilot Lex Brun. Other prizes donated by local businesses and residents include meal vouchers, gift hampers, and family days out.

Funds raised at the fete will go directly to the inclusive playground project, which has already secured major grant support but requires at least £10,000 of local fundraising to unlock over £100,000 in additional grant funding.

Peter Harries, Chair of the Parish Council’s Playground Working Group, said: “This is a real chance for our community to make a lasting difference. Every raffle ticket, every cup of tea, every game played on the day will help us bring a fantastic new playground to life for the children of Great Massingham.”

The Parish Council invites everyone to join the fun, support the stalls, and buy raffle tickets in advance at the village shop, the pub, and the Village Hall.
