We are genuinely honoured by the number of people who have been getting in touch recently wanting to join the Tia’s Treasures team and help us spread kindness around the world.
What started all those years ago as a little idea has grown into something we could never have imagined, and knowing that people want to give their own time to help us spread our message of kindness means such a lot.
For anyone new to Tia’s Treasures, we are non-profit. We don’t do what we do to make money — we do it to spread kindness and to support existing charities and good causes.
We do this in lots of different ways, including donating our handmade Treasures to charities for them to use to raise funds, as well as organising our own fundraising events and activities with the proceeds going to the causes we support.
Alongside our fundraising, we have our Tia’s Treasures Worldwide Treasure Hunt — sending little handmade Treasures out into the world for people to discover, keep or re-hide, hopefully creating a ripple of kindness that travels much further than we ever could.
And now, more and more of you want to help us do it!
Of course, the bigger our team becomes, the more materials we need. Beads, elastic, packaging and the little slips that accompany our Treasures all have a cost, so we’re currently looking at ways we could raise funds specifically to help cover these expenses.
Doing this would allow us to welcome even more Treasure Creators and Treasure Hiders to our team, provide them with what they need and ultimately get even more little acts of kindness travelling around the world.

Imagine a room full of people creating hundreds — maybe even thousands — of Treasures together, ready to be released as part of the Worldwide Treasure Hunt.

Every single person behind Tia’s Treasures is a volunteer. We all have families, jobs, school, college and other commitments outside of Tia’s Treasures, so sometimes it takes us a little longer than we’d like to get back to everyone

And perhaps the fact that our inbox is struggling to keep up is actually something pretty wonderful…
It means there are an awful lot of people out there who still believe that a little bit of kindness can make a difference.
