Norfolk-based Murder Mystery experts, Dreamstone Productions, are bringing the 1940s to the Norfolk Broads this summer!

Norfolk has long had strong associations with the 1940s – from the Dad’s Army Museum at Thetford and the RADAR Museum in Neatishead, to the celebrated 1940s Weekend held at Sheringham every year. Now a Norfolk company are putting on a 1940s Murder Mystery event – on a moving boat!

Donna K. Triggs, co-director of Dreamstone Productions, said, “As a company, Dreamstone Productions have been involved in the 1940s Weekend at Sheringham for many years. We are now delighted to give a new twist to 1940s celebrations, and are bringing one of our signature Murder Mysteries to the Broads. On a boat, anything could happen…even murder!”

The event will feature Winston Churchill, as he tries to combat a German spy threat whilst navigating the darkest waters of Norfolk. Ian Alldis, who plays the Prime Minister in the production, says, “Playing such a well-known and beloved character as Churchill is always a challenge, but I hope I can do him justice. Let’s just hope no-one tries to assassinate the PM by throwing him overboard on the night!”

The Murder Mystery Cruise is running for two nights in August, with one night already sold out. If you want to grab any of the few remaining tickets still available for Friday August 21st, you can do so at http://www.dreamstoneproductions.co

Here’s to Victory – and a safe passage through dark waters!
