Nelson’s Journey, Norfolk’s child bereavement support charity, are delighted to be holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt in the beautiful grounds of The Octagon Barn in Little Plumstead. The event will run from 10.30am – 3.30pm on 29th March.
The day will be filled with family fun, children will be able to follow the trail for their egg, meet the Easter Bunny, get stuck in with some crafting, meet farm animals and the Pets as Therapy dogs, take part in the raffle and tombola and so much more.
New for 2026, the opportunity to take part in some archery, fete style games such as Splat the Rat, Hook a Duck, Tin Can Alley and Cornhole.
Every child will receive a chocolate egg which has been generously donated by local companies such as Signs Express and Longwater Construction.
There will be a range of different local food suppliers, including a BBQ from the 1st Great and Little Plumstead Scouts, sweet treats from The Food Dude and coffee from Cuppa JoJo.
Megan Utting, Funding & Marketing Officer for Nelson’s Journey said, “Thanks to our event sponsors EASE – East Anglian Site Engineering for their generous sponsorship and support of our work, we are delighted to run our annual Easter Egg Hunt for another year, its set to be a brilliant day, packed full of exciting activities for children and adults alike.”
All funds raised from this event will support the direct work Nelson’s Journey carries out with supporting children and young people who have experienced the death of a significant person.
