Profile
Afri-Fest East (AFE), East Anglia’s heartbeat of Afrocentric culture, has unveiled a bold new identity that bursts with the rhythm, colour, and creativity of Africa, now reimagined through a
more deliberate modern lens. This is not just a revamp. It is a redefinition and a vibrant step forward that celebrates how far the festival has come since its debut in 2024 and how bravely it is stepping into the future.
The 2026 edition marks the beginning of a new chapter. With a refreshed vision and an Afro-modern theme, Afri-Fest East 2026 will showcase how tradition and innovation can move in
harmony, where ancestral rhythm meets contemporary creativity.
The 2026 programme has been carefully curated to elevate every dimension of Afrocentric experience, from music, fashion, food, and visual art through to leadership and innovation. The
festival will feature immersive installations, cross-cultural collaborations, and live showcases that celebrate Africa’s creative evolution while building bridges with the global community.
To Afri-Fest East, Afro-modern is more than a style. It is a statement and the pulse of a generation that honours its heritage while redefining its future. It is a fusion of sound, soul, and
story.
