Our annual Come & Sing event on Saturday 11 October 2025. This year we will be singing The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace by Sir Karl Jenkins.
The Armed Man was commissioned by the Royal Armouries for the millenium celebrations and dedicated to the victims of Kosovo. It was composed in 1999 and first performed in 2000. It is essentially an anti-war piece based on the Catholic Mass with other sources including the 15th century folk song “L’homme armé”.
An all day workshop lead by our musical director David Ballard and accompanied by Philip Adams.
