Formed in 2014 by guitarist and songwriter Neil Jackson, Delta High were formed to reflect his love of all things 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Based in Norfolk, U.K, the songs have an eclectic feel with influences from The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Blondie, Motown and Los Angeles band Weezer.
The result is a fusion of Sunshine Pop, Indie Rock and Motown. Six albums in, the latest album “ Dukes”, showcases all those elements and the new single “ California Beach “ is a nod to the West Coast with it’s Beach Boys harmonies, Surf Rock guitar & a bit of a Weezer vibe.
Delta High recently released “Rockfish” which comes from remembering the great Halloween song “The Monster Mash”, and add the guile and eeriness of “The Munsters” with a crunch of “The Cramps” and there you have it! A twist of Halloween to make your nightmare come true. Delta High is currently being played in over 100 radio stations worldwide and continues to gain momentum.
