Britain might be basking in a heatwave, but young children at Gorleston seafront are keeping their cool as Great Yarmouth Borough Council has opened a new, fun wet play facility today (Wednesday, August 8). Over recent months, families have eagerly watched the new splashpad taking shape, with its fountain sprays, jet streams and buckets of tipping water – all set within an ocean-themed play environment featuring a sail boat, fish, seaweed and starfish.
