The NNDC rangers at the Green flag awarded Holt Country Park will be putting on 'Shelter building, Hot choc and Marshmallows' session over February half term to engage children in the creatures that live in the woodland and to offer them the opportunity to interact with the materials available.

'Shelter building, Hot choc and Marshmallows' is all about using the materials available in the woodland to build a shelter and takes place on Thursday 21st February at 1pm - 3pm with hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows to enjoy at the end of the session.

Cllr Hilary Cox MBE, NNDC Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Culture and Licensing said: "Holt Country Park is such a wonderful place to have fun at any time but especially these events over the half term holiday, come along and enjoy."

Just £3 per child, parents go free and must accompany children throughout.

You can pre-book your tickets and parking spaces for these events at north-norfolk.gov.uk/book now.

The park has a visitor centre with toilets, a car park with disabled parking bays (all spaces cost £2 per day) and way-marked routes suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Car parking spaces are limited and you are advised to pre-book via the online booking system. If all car parking spaces are sold but entry tickets are still available, you are welcome to join us for the event but you will not be able to park on site.
