Join us at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden on Norfolk Day, Friday July 27 and enjoy a slice of our special Norfolk Day cake (until it is all gone!). The cake will be iced with the Norfolk Day flag.

Sally Randell, a former finalist in Visit England's Tourism Superstar, will be cutting the cake at 10.30am, to mark 30 years working at Fairhaven Garden.

Tearoom Menu for Norfolk Day - Friday 27 July

Cromer crab in a lime & ginger scented cream sauce on a pillow of linguine - £6.95

Fairhaven quiche of leek and Binham Blue cheese, served with summer leaves & minted potatoes - £6.25

Paworth Farm sausages on creamy mash with onion gravy & Hall Farm runner beans - £6.95

Fairhaven raspberry tart with crème patissiere & apricot glaze - £4.50

We are also offering free entry for children on Norfolk Day, which coincides with I-Spy Friday, one of the garden's regular summer family activities. Head off into the woods and and follow the I-Spy clues, leading to hidden treasure.

Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden is at South Walsham, signposted off A47 at B1140 junction, half way between Norwich and Great Yarmouth, t. 01603 270449, www.fairhavengarden.co.uk.

The garden is open daily all year from 10am to 5pm (closed Christmas Day), and on Wednesdays until 9pm from May to the end of August. Garden entry is adult £6.85, concessions £6.60, children £3.95 and free for Fairhaven members and under 5s. Free entry to tearoom, gift shop and plant sales.
