Half Term Fun @ Jubilee Hall, Salhouse

Two days of Half Term Fun!

Starting at 10 and finishing at 3 each day.

A variety of activities, arts, science and general creativity FREE to all. Suitable for ages 4 -94!

Led by two established national Artists Cordelia Spalding & Kaitlin Ferguson. Kaitlin has just graduated with a1st in Ma Art, Science & Nature from Edinburgh University and Cordelia is currently studying an MA in Communication Design at Norwich University of the Arts. The wider HGB team will also be on hand to support the science activities and give a little more in-depth in fo for those wishing to know more about the project. ( Cordelia is also the Access & Engagement Officer on the project)

Both Artists practices are sited in where Art & Science meet and in particular environmental, geological and bio diversity topics.

The activities on offer range from straightforward colouring in, if you just want to stop off for a quick look, to more involved crafts where we will be making a "Spooky Broad Diorama", based upon the creatures found across the Broads.

There will also be a chance to try out a few science experiments looking at the differences between salt and fresh water. Also opportunities to look at how various Broads species are adapted to their environment

The Hoveton Great Broad Restoration project is now in its 4th operational year and aims to turn this currently murky broad in a crystal clear haven for wildlife.

The team are working with nature and the environment every day and this is an opportunity not only to get creative and do some arty stuff, but also to learn a little more about the project, and the wildlife and and plants that make the Broads so special.

All welcome, Free to all! See you there!
