Tia's Treasures Just Giving Page has just reached our £1000 target.

Tia's Treasures Young Epilepsy JustGiving Page has reached our £1000 target yesterday evening.

As previously mentioned we had planned to hold a Fundraising event of some kind to celebrate Tia's Treasures 9th Birthday on 21st May to hopefully achieve our target but due to the current situation with Covid 19/Corona Virus this unfortunately wasn't possible.

We had been thinking of ways of how we could raise the last £200 to achieve our £1000 target from the comfort of our home and as I (Lisa) was long overdue a hair cut (last one was just before Christmas)I decided to brave the shave as part of the Cov Head-19 Challenge.

The Covhead-19 Challenge was launched last month by William Bull from Oxfordshire who wanted to "get people making the most of a bad situation".

I was unable to shave it completely off due to tender scar tissue from being involved in an accident years ago so many people may well think it wasn't a drastic shave but would you have gone this short? at the end of the day it is for a good cause and it will be the shortest it has ever been.
I have dyed my hair different shades of purple many times since 2018 for Epilepsy Awareness so I went that step further to raise funds for Young Epilepsy.

I know I really should have taken before photos as well as after photos but I just wanted to get it done, those who know me will know how long and messy my hair was before lockdown and for those who don't I have a few photos of how my hair was at various times through out the year I can send you, I'm not usually one for being in front of the camera just behind it so posting a photo of myself is an achievement in its self.

We would like to say a Big Thank you to everyone that donated, it means alot to not only Tia's Treasures but to Young Epilepsy too.

Although the target has been reached if you still would like to donate you can do so by visiting this link:

Here is my new hairstyle, what do you think? whether you love it or hate it as I said previously it was for a good cause and thats all that matters.
