Casting call for Westacre Theatre

Do you know somebody who is a budding actor, or could that be you?  Here is just the chance a rising star needs to get a next step on the ladder.  A genuinely valuable opportunity, it would certainly boost any CV for uni or drama school.

Westacre Theatre - only moments off the A47 near Swaffham – has a brand new work to stage in July and August.  Adapted from a short story by Anton Chekhov, the play therefore has an impeccable pedigree.  Creatively written, it allows for flexibility in its characters.  So, the only criterion is that actors must be 17+

Now a graduate of the Rose Bruford College, writer and director Ross Chandler has been closely involved at the Theatre since a young age and can therefore provide support and guidance to his cast based on his own personal experience.  An intensive fortnight of rehearsals in July will give insight into a whole variety of techniques for developing character and form for performances in both July and again in August.

This major project needs to get off the ground very soon so be in at the start please register your interest if you wish to be considered or to just ask Ross lots of questions.  His email is This email address is being protected from spambots.
